Amazon Started Working On A Successor To Echo

With Apple joining the market of smart speakers with its HomePod speaker, which is due to launch this December, Amazon started working on a successor to Echo. The new model will reportedly be released in the United States by the end of the
year and will cost more than the currently available Echo.
The new model is reportedly shorter and slimmer than the original, with rounded edges and a cloth-like covering. It will pack better microphone technology and is aiming to significantly improve the sound quality as well and that is pretty much everything we know about it.
