Destiny 2 Reaches 1.2 Million Concurrent Players Online

Destiny 2 is only available on consoles, but it's already become a fairly massive game. Over the weekend, Bungie announced the title had reached a milestone of
1.2 million concurrent players online. The PC release could push that number much higher, though Destiny 2 isn't out on that platform until October 24, at which point interest could decline on consoles.
Thank you all so much for playing, Guardians! Right now Destiny 2 has over 1.2 Million concurrent players online. We'll see you in the wild.
Though other games have indeed seen million-player days, including League of Legends, Minecraft, and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, it's still an impressive figure.

Destiny 2 was released on September 6 and has so far received positive reviews.
